Something to keep my eternal flame a little bit warmer this winter:
Pattern: McCall's MP314. I think that perhaps the pattern is out of print because I could not locate a link for it on the McCall website.
Fabric: Four yards of cotton flannel fabric. I picked it up on sale during the Joann's After Thanksgiving sale for $0.99 per yard.
Alterations: I took out a section of fabric in the middle of the drawstring and inserted six inches of elastic in its place. This allows for the benefit of elastic in the back of the pants, but without losing the use of a drawstring. DH really likes it better than just a regular drawstring.
Cost: Fabric - $3.96. Pattern, thread, and elastic all came from the stash. Total - $3.96! Not bad for flannel pj bottoms!
Impressions: I've made these quite a few times before. It's a good standard pattern with nothing fancy... just how DH likes it :)
