A sewing distraction that is.
I started the Day in the Park backpack over the weekend. Thus far the most time-consuming task has been the cutting of all the pattern pieces - there are quite a few, plus many of them require interfacing and/or canvas for stability. But I am making some good headway - here are the outside pieces, basted with interfacing or canvas, or both:
I am using the Etsuko Furuya print I picked up at Levine's the end of June. Speaking of Levine's, I will be making another trip up there on Saturday for more fabric shopping mayhem!
