Like I said, I've been thinking about t-shirt reconstruction and the different things that can be done. This was very much sparked by finding regular, plain-jane shirts on sale at craft stores.
Ts are definitely the way to go with a toddler-on-the-go, because I never know when I'm going to end up covered in dirt, food, grass, or milk (or any combination there-of). And the price of these t-shirts fit the bill - only $2 each!
But regular crew neck shirts are too boring for my tastes. Yes, I am a mommy, but that doesn't mean I can't try and be a bit fashionable too!
So, after discovering a different way of attempting shirring (no hand-winding bobbins for me!)....
Now that is much better!!
I am considering some embroidery on the bottom portion, perhaps off to the side. After that decision is made, a modeling shot will follow.
