Saw the pattern for Heather Bailey's Marlo Bloom bag at a quilt show. The pattern just had to come home with me.
Later in the day, happened upon a vendor selling Japanese imported fabrics. I fell in love with them!
Putting the two together created the perfect bag marriage...
She's reversible too!
And the vendor had fat quarters and fat eighths - so the pin is made from Japanese fabrics as well.
The only challenge I had in the construction of the bag was with the handle. I found it fiddly, and I couldn't seem to get it "just perfect." Other than that, the bag was a breeze to put together!
