Oh, how I sometimes wish I lived a cat's life:
What a hard life....
These are two of our "babies" - the black one is Kodiak (the youngest) and the other one is Diony (the only girl). It is so out of character for Kodiak to be so damn cute, and I just could not help myself. We are missing a snap-shot of Spike (the oldest), he wasn't really doing anything cute, so we will have to save his introduction for another time!
Sadly, just as I was starting the hem on the linen skirt on Wednesday night, my sewing machine decided to permanently remain in the "automatic threading" position. Bummer. To SewPro's it went, luckily the machine is warrantied for almost forever, I am just waiting for the call to come pick it up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for early this coming week. I have made some progress on Myrtle:
A close up of the moss stitch shaping on the top:
I have about 6" left of the sleeve and arm shaping and I will be finished with the right side... then it will be onto the sleeves.
Kris, Miyon and I are going to start our washcloth-knit-along on Monday. I was hoping to have Myrtle completed by then, oh well. I'm not that far away though!
Cute cats! I just put a picture of our cats up on my blog, too.
