My First Knitalong!!

I have taken a big step in the knit-blogging world... I am hosting my first knitalong! Do you see the big purple button on the right?!? That's the link!

The specifics? Well, you need to be working on a project that uses some kind of tape-y or ribbon-y yarn. That's it. You don't need your own blog because the KAL blog will allow you to post comments and pictures there. If you want to join, check out the website and email me, or comment here. Thus far, it is Kris and I, but I hope there are a lot of knitters who want to join (can you tell I am a little nervous about it?).

Something else that is new.... Kris has started a San Diego Knit Blogging Ring! Yippee!! Scroll down a bit and on the right-hand side you will see the button. Projects on the needles:

Making her first appearance as a w.i.p, the Interlacements Fan and Feather Shawl:

I have about 10" completed to date.... only about fifty more inches to go!

I have also been working on seaming the Vogue Cropped Cardi:

One more sleeve, some weaving in of ends and the crochet edging and she is finished.

I checked on the blocking o'myrtle, and she is dry. I need to make some time this week to get the seaming completed... San Diego is predicted to have some un-seasonable cool and rainy weather the end of this week and next week, which may allow me the opportunity to wear Myrtle before this coming fall!
