I am so happy it's Friday. It has been one hectic week. Next week will be no better, in fact - it may be worse!
So, as everyone probably knows, at twenty-eight, I am back in school. This last semester I have been extremely wrapped up in Human Anatomy & Physiology (with a lab) as well as an online Business Organizations class through Mesa College. I have two weeks to go until Human A&P is over and one week until the online business class is over (everything is due next Saturday - let's not get into the fact that I am nine chapters behind and have one week to complete it!). Oh, and that I have a thing called a job that I need to go to everyday.
Well, not that I am busy enough as it is, starting Monday I will be offically taking six more units. Yes - that is two classes - starting Monday. On top of the other two classes I am already in - that I need to finish assignments for and take finals for. Am I crazy, you ask? Yes. Yes I am.
Because not only am I starting two more classes on Monday, and even though they are online, they are only six weeks long. Yes. A semester's worth of work in six weeks - not one class, but two. With two weeks overlap with the classes I am in right now. So, if you didn't really believe that I was crazy about doing this the first time I asked you, you probably really think I am crazy now.
And, to top it off, I must really enjoy the torture because after these six week classes are over, I get to take two more right afterwards. Yes. Another two classes, a semester's worth of work, in six weeks. Not one class, but two. Oh, and let's not forget that I have a thing called a job that I need to go to everyday. :-)
I am really looking forward to this weekend though.
Tomorrow, Kris, Erika and I are meeting for breakfast at Champagne Bakery and then heading to the Del Mar Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival. This should be a lot of fun. We will be doing some supply swapping - I have needles that Kris wants to borrow, and I have a couple of patterns for Erika that were delivered a couple of weeks ago, and Erika just received the WEBS order that was placed awhile ago so she has some Cascade 220 for me. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Erika gets the Knit 'n' Tyme order today so that Kris and I can have our Phildar Magazines too!
Sunday will be a busy day. Andy is participating in another triathlon, the Xterra West Championship in Temecula. He is doing the "sport" race that starts at 8AM, yep 8AM. But that isn't the time we need to be there, noooo.... we need to be there much earlier so he can set up his transition areas.... sometime around 6:30, yes, in the morning! I will be a little sleepy. My grandparents are making the trip from Yorba Linda to see him in the race so at least I will have a little company and won't be the only one in the cheering squad!
After the race and such I have a bridal shower to attend in Escondido in the afternoon. The bride, Carin Albright (who many of you may know) is getting married in June and we get to "shower" her with gifts!
Wow - busy weekend ahead of me, but it will be fun. I hope to get some knitting squeezed in here and there.... and maybe some studying too :-)
You're crazy! =P

You are in fact a nut. A loveable nut, but a nut just the same. :)
Looking forward to tomorrow! You know, before I go home and study for my own final (I take it we're both ignoring the fact that we don't have time to go to a craft fair. :P )
Erica - (I know you'll read this) I was going to mail your check on Thursday, because I totally spaced this whole week, then I realized I'll see you tomorrow, so I'll give you the money then. Sorry!
