So I deceived you yesterday. Remember that bag, the one that I said wasn't done??
Well, it was so finished!
I have a reason for my deception, you see. There was an entire process to the bag that would have been a total spoiler to its surprise recipient. Things like this:
And this:
Would have ruined it for sure!
So now that she has it in her hands, the bag would like to make its proper debut:
Front
Lining
Two pockets, one in front the other in back
And one final shot
The pattern used was Simplicity's 4535, view 'C'. The only major alteration was the addition of the embroidered monogram. Finished dimensions: 8" H, 7-1/2" W, 4" D. The pattern was pretty easy to follow and produced more than just the standard tote - the addition of the pockets and how the handles are applied puts this design over the top.
So, sure, I may be sneaky, but, my deception was well worth it :)
Thank you, friend! You are amazing. I love it!!!! :)

That looks like it would make a great knitting bag. And your sewing machine is just too awesome!

Fabulous bag! I'd ask you where the knitting is, but the bags are just too much fun to watch appear. :)

I love that monogram! Considering what you can do with a sewing machine, I have no doubt you'll get the crochet figured out quickly. I'm curious to see what you make from "Happy Hooker" (ok, there's something weird about typing that name out ;)

Fantastic bag - if only the knitting bags you can get in a store were as great looking. Hmm. Sewing... I could.. err.. I need another hobby like I need a hole in the head.
