Cozy is officially done!
Close up of stitch detail:
Yarn: Brooks Farms Harmony, purchased from Stitches West 2006. Thanks to my scale, I was able to use almost the entire skein (500 yards) leaving just 4 grams left over.
Needles: Addi Turbos, US9s.
Alterations: A yarn substitution and change in needle size. I also re-wrote the stitch pattern so that I could knit the shawl using Combination Continental.
Impressions: This pattern was simple to follow and produced a beautiful shawl. I would think that just about any yarn could be used with an appropriate needle size. Previous to blocking it measured 44" long by 20" wide. When dry it came out to be 60" long by 22" wide, a perfect shawl length. The Brooks Farm's yarn is lovely as always and I really love how the colorway showed up in the pattern. No hideous color pooling whatsoever.
As far as the Leaf Lace Shawl goes, I am currently halfway through the eighth repeat. According to the calculator (thanks Theresa!) I am 86.8% complete (with twelve repeats, 84% with thirteen repeats), way beyond the fifty percent mark I set for myself this month. I have not decided if I'm going to keep working on it this month or not.... I have a lot of other goals I need to reach, but it has been such a joy to work on. I think I might just work on it here and there but not make it a huge priority :)
Isn't an FO like that so satisfying? Congrats.

I love this pattern - Cozy has been on my to-knit list for a while. Yours is just lovely. That colorway is amazing with the stitch pattern.
