DH and I escaped to Idyllwild this last weekend for a much needed break from our everyday lives. We stayed at the same inn from our trip in April (minus the snow). I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful getaway. It was a perfect trip.
In addition to the nothing-ness that was accomplished over the weekend, I brought with me the Leaf Lace Shawl. I do have to say I have made some pretty good progress:

I am working on the smaller version using fingering weight yarn, and have completed six of the ten row repeats. According to the pattern twelve repeats is what I'm supposed to be shooting for. I do have 770 yards (compared to the 600 recommended for the pattern), so I may do an extra repeat - we'll see.
BTW - Does anyone have a "shawl calculator" that they like to use? I'm not sure what percentage complete I am at and since the goal for the month is 50%, I would like to know how much further I have to go :)

There's an Excel spreadsheet shawl calculator on her sidebar that works great.
Thanks for the weekend tip - I might be getting away one of these weekends!
