November Goals - way overdue

Been quite a bit behind in the blogging....

October Goals:

1. Finish Eloise. Done! FO post pending.

2. Start and finish either a shawl or a scarf. Not Done.

3. Sew a garment of my choice, preferably this tie-jacket with some stash corduroy so I can have it for Rhinebeck. Done! FO post pending.

4. Sew a handbag. Done! FO post pending.

5. Make progress on sleeve of Tribal Sweater. Done!

6. Make more progress on sock. Done! I'm on the heel.

November Goals:

1. Make futher progress on sleeve of Tribal Sweater.

2. Post all finished projects. I'm so behind.

3. Sew a garment of my choice.

4. Sew a handbag.

5. Make more progress on sock.

October Goals

I can't believe it's October already!

September Goals:

1. Make progress on sleeve of Tribal Sweater. Not done.

2. Finish up the cap sleeve v-neck. Done!

3. Sew a garment of my choice. If it is from an Amy Butler pattern, enter the U-handblog contest. Done! I made a Barcelona Skirt with matching handbag.

4. Make that Rhinebeck sweater decision, and get started. Done! I've started Eloise.

5. Make progress on socks. Progress post pending. Done! Except for the progress post.

6. Yes, I'm going to say it, start thinking about Christmas gifts and start crafting! I've thought about it, but haven't started a single thing.

September Goals - a few days late

August Goals:

I've discovered Aperture, and downloaded a free 30 day trial to see if I like it. Unfortunately I think my crafting is going to suffer a bit while I put together a photo book of our trip to Maui. It's still crafting, right, just in a digital form??

1. Finish front piece of the Tribal Sweater. Start a sleeve. Just need to do it!

Done!

2. Finish one sleeve of the cap-sleeved tunic.

Done! I even finished the knitting and seaming :)

3. Sew a garment of my choice. If it is from an Amy Butler pattern, enter the U-handblog contest.

Done! It wasn't an Amy Butler pattern, so I didn't enter the contest.

4. Make a decision about Mystery Stole 3. I'm so far behind, and don't know if I want to continue. Some other things lace-y are calling to me. As well as Pandora, which has been on the back-burner forever.

Done. I've decided to give MS3 a break.

5. Get the rest of my stash up on Ravelry (I'm onebyone by the way).

Not done.

6. Make some Rhinebeck sweater decisions. In the running thus far: Tangled Yoke Cardigan (due out in the Fall IK), Eloise, a finished Pandora, Gathering Intentions from Inspired Cable Knits (there is a beautiful one here), and the Textured Tunic from Fitted Knits. The only requirement is that the yarn come from the stash.

Not done. I did end up buying yarn for the Tangled Yoke Cardigan (oops), but it is wool, and mixed with no A/C in the current So Cal heat wave - not a good mix. I need to start something soon though.

September Goals:

August Goals

July Goals:

1. Finish front piece of the Tribal Sweater. Start a sleeve. Seriously need to complete this one. Nope.

2. Make some progress on the sock. Nope.

3. Make progress on the front piece of the cap-sleeved tunic. Done! I finished the front piece and have started a sleeve.

4. Sew a garment, or two. Done! I sewed a skirt, a top and a dress.

5. Complete crafty room bookcases. Nope. I blame this one on DH - I need his muscular skills to help with some tacks, and he went and almost permanently removed the tip of one of his fingers. Needless to say, he's been out of commission until this week. But he's healing up fine.

Bonus: I knit up a Spiderweb Capelet to match a dress!

August Goals:

July Goals

I wasn't the best knitter this month...

June Goals:

1. Finish front piece of the Tribal Sweater. Start a sleeve. Not Done.

2. Make progress on sock from #6 above. Done... just a couple of repeats, but it's progress.

3. Sew a garment of my choice. Done. ChaChaCha.

4. Start a crochet project. Not Done.

5. Finish back piece of tunic from #7 above. Start front. Done.

6. Maybe knit or crochet some jewelry? We'll see. Not Done.

Bonus: I sewed a complete knit outfit, a skirt and a frog. Oh, I also worked on re-organizing the crafting room!

1. Just finish the VLT Curved Shawl already! I only have about 4 hours left on the border and it will be ready for blocking. Done!

2. Complete a sewing project of my choice. Done! I sewed two dresses.

3. Make progress on the front piece of the Tribal Sweater. Done!

4. Make progress on Pandora. Not done.

5. Start Rusted Root. Done! I even finished it :)

6. I seriously need to start some socks. Done! I'm going out on a limb and designing my own socks. Progress post pending.

7. If I make huge progress on 1-6 above, start another lace project - shawl or scarf. Done! Sort-of, it's not lace but a textured rib tunic from the Spring 2007 Tahki Patterns book in Cotton Ease.

June Goals:

1. Finish front piece of the Tribal Sweater. Start a sleeve.

2. Make progress on sock from #6 above.

3. Sew a garment of my choice.

4. Start a crochet project.

5. Finish back piece of tunic from #7 above. Start front.

6. Maybe knit or crochet some jewelry? We'll see.

May Goals

Back home, safe and sound... we had a fantastic trip. Everything is in shambles, but I hope to share another picture or two soon.

Apparently me, vacations, and crafty-production just don't get along... didn't quite meet my goals for last month.

April Goals:

1. Finish the VLT Curved Shawl. Not done.

2. Sew a dress. Done! FO post pending.

3. Sew a skirt. Done! Not one, but two... yet another FO post pending.

4. Finish the third strip to the Stitch Diva Hairpin Lace Wrap. Not done.

5. Finish the back piece to DH's Tribal Sweater. Cast on for the front. Done!

6. Make some sort of progress on the front piece of Pandora. Not done.

7. Start some socks. Not done.

8. Finish the crochet cuff from #7 above. Not done.

9. If I get the VLT shawl finished, either start another shawl or another project of my choice. Not done, although I have a project picked out and the yarn purchased.

May Goals:

1. Just finish the VLT Curved Shawl already! I only have about 4 hours left on the border and it will be ready for blocking.

2. Complete a sewing project of my choice.

3. Make progress on the front piece of the Tribal Sweater.

4. Make progress on Pandora.

5. Start Rusted Root.

6. I seriously need to start some socks.

April Goals

March Goals:

1. Make progress on the front piece of Pandora. Not Done.

2. Finish the back piece of Bonsai Tunic and cast-on for the front. Done! I finished the entire garment :)

3. Finish the second Embossed Leaves sock. Start a new pair of socks using some of the newly acquired sock yarn from Stitches West! Half done - I finished the Embossed Leaves socks, but have yet to make a decision about what sock pattern to start next.

4. Sew a garment of my choosing. Done - I finished up a sundress.

5. Make progress on the VLT Curved Shawl. Done!

6. Track down and purchase two of the new Tahki Stacy Charles pattern books. Done!

7. Have some fun with knit/crochet jewelry making. Done - I've been working on a beaded crochet cuff.

8. Maybe start a crochet project or try my hand at hairpin lace (perhaps a practice shawl or something). Done!

As a bonus project, I sewed a really cute Burda dress!

April Goals:

1. Finish the VLT Curved Shawl.

2. Sew a dress.

3. Sew a skirt.

March Goals

February Goals:

1. Make some significant progress on Gatsby Girl. Hopefully have it done in time for Stitches West, but don't stress myself out over it. DONE!, as in I finished it and wore it at Stitches on Friday :)

2. Sew a handbag - more specifically sew an embroidered handbag for the contest winner. Done! Kris received her prize on Friday. The FO post is pending.

3. Make progress on the second Embossed Leaves sock. Done, technically. I'm almost done with the twisted ribbing on the cuff, but I should have made further progress than just that.

4. Get Stitches West class homework done. Done!

5. Sew a dress or a skirt. Not Done.

6. Make a final decision on Myrtle. Not Done. I'm back to thinking I should just rip it out. Maybe I should just put it back in the box and thing about it next year.

7. Start the shawl from #8 above. Done! An entire six rows, but I did start it :)

8. Have a blast at Stitches West!! Oh yeah - Totally done!

BONUS: I started Pandora and finished the back piece. I've also started the Bonsai Tunic!

March Goals:

1. Make progress on the front piece of Pandora.

2. Finish the back piece of Bonsai Tunic and cast-on for the front.

February Goals

January Goals:

I did pretty well...

1. Sew a pajama outfit... it's going to be pink! Done!

2. Sew a pair of flannel pajama pants for DH. Done!

3. Finish back piece of Gatsby Girl and cast on for front. Done!

4. Re-visit Myrtle. Oh yeah, did that. I'm still considering those darn sleeves.

5. Start a pair of socks. Done! I started Embossed Leaves, even finished one of the socks and cast-on for the second.

6. Make progress on Betty. Nope, didn't even touch it.

7. Sew either a skirt or a dress. Done!

8. If I'm feeling inspired... start a shawl from Victorian Lace Today with stash yarn. I have picked the shawl I want to start, and even did some stash diving to find an appropriate yarn. I'm all ready to go as soon as my ball winder and shift get here!

Feburary Goals:
